Delete your account

You can delete your 3AM Kickout account whenever you like, in the game or on the web. It takes a few seconds and it can't be undone.

If you only ever played solo, there is no account: uninstalling the game removes everything.

In the game

  1. Open 3AM Kickout and tap the title screen.
  2. On the main menu, tap Online, then Account. If you're not signed in on this phone, sign in with the email address you used before. (Signing in with an address that has no account makes a new one.)
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. The game warns you: This erases your account, your nickname and every sign-in, for good. Your scores stay on the boards without your name. Tap Delete forever.

The game tells you when it's done: Your account and sign-ins are gone. Thanks for playing. If it says something went wrong, your account may still have been deleted: the connection can drop after our server has done it. Close the game, open it again and tap Online, then Account. If it asks you to sign in, your account is gone, and signing in again would start a new one. If it still shows your account, try again.

If you no longer have the game

  1. Go to play.3amkickout.com/account/delete.
  2. Enter the email address on your account.
  3. We email a single-use link to that address. Open it and confirm on the page.

Only someone who can read the account's email can delete it this way. If you can't get into that inbox any more, email privacy@skyelemental.com: we'll ask for details only the account's owner is likely to know, such as its nickname and roughly when and on which phone you last played, and we reply to the address you write from. Questions about your data or your other rights go to the same address.

What's deleted

  • Your account: your email address and your nickname.
  • Every sign-in on every device, so any phone still signed in is signed out.
  • Any sign-in requests waiting for your address.

What's kept

  • Your scores stay on the leaderboards, shown without your name and no longer tied to an account.
  • Our nightly database backups: each is deleted once it's 14 days old, so your data is gone from all of them within 15 days of deleting your account.
  • The deletion ledger: your account's random id and when it was deleted (never your email address or nickname), for 60 days, so that restoring a backup can't bring your account back: after any restore, every account in the ledger is deleted again.
  • If you deleted on the web, a keyed hash of your deletion link and whether it was used, until 60 minutes after it was used or expired.
  • Sign-in and deletion-request counters, kept against a keyed hash of your address, which are deleted within 24 hours.
  • Our server's logs, which refer to your account and sign-ins only by random identifiers and to your email address only by a keyed pseudonym, never the address itself. They're deleted as newer logs take their space.
  • The headers of the emails we sent you (who they went to, and their subjects), which our email service SMTP2GO keeps for 35 days.

Your settings live only on your phone. Uninstalling the game removes them.
